I am watching Bring It On: All or Nothing, simply because there is nothing else on. The krumping scene is completely hilarious. Hayden looks so serious when she's doing it. Has to be the stupidest thing ever. Haha!

MAC's Hello Kitty collection is coming out soon. How perfect!!

Post-Twilight depression

I recently started reading the second book in the Sookie Stackhouse series and I just can't seem to "get into it." I'm trying to give it a sincere try, but all I really feel like doing is starting the Twilight series over. What if the Twilight books have ruined all other types of literature for me? It's frightening. I wonder if maybe I just give into my bizarre need to rehash these stories, that I will be satiated after a second reading and finally be able to enjoy books that I read before this series? I'm really trying to remember the love I had for Sookie, Bill, and Sam before my whole fascination began in November, but I'm afraid that these characters just aren't living up to Bella, Edward, and Jacob. What to do?

That was all very melodramatic, but this should show you how much of my life is consumed by reading. Fiction is my drug.

Anyway, I am so VERY excited! Only 22 days until we leave for New York! I have so many things I want to do and am thrilled that I can check one more thing off of my "Things to do before I die" list.

I'm off to once again lose myself in fiction... Lost is on in fifteen minutes. How I love Sawyer and Jack...and strangely Ben.

The universe has FINALLY heard me!

I just read the best news on

"Gwen and the boys are going on tour this summer! And,they're being joined by another female-fronted, predominantly male band - Paramore.Dates and locations haven't been announced yet, but Gwen Stefani says of the summer outing, 'The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try on all our favorite songs again and to get inspired to make new music. It feels good to be all together again.'"

I knew No Doubt was touring this summer and I thought it couldn't get any better. Well, guess what boys and can! My two favorite bands in one place. And I was just saying the other day how I was sad because I would probably never get to see Paramore tour with material from their first two albums. It's weird how life works sometimes.

Twilight and other stuff

So I am completely obsessed with Twilight right now. I have reached bizzare new heights. I have seen the movie three times and am seriously considering seeing it at least one more time. I'm on the second book right now and am loving it. I miss Edward, though. I don't know what I will do when I finish the last one. I hope hope hope Stephenie finishes Midnight Sun.

I am currently annoying Matt by repeatedly listening to Paramore and singing the lyrics to crushcrushcrush over and over. Haha.

Still looking for a job. I'm kinda depressed with my current situation. How long can I live with my parents for God's sake? I love being with my family but at some point this is going to get pathetic. There is so much I want to do, but how will it all happen?

This year has probably been the greatest of my life. I have gotten to do so many cool things and I'm thinking in February I might actually get to go somewhere I've always dreamed of...

I am so so so so PSYCHED that No Doubt might be touring in the summer!!!

Johnny is still the most bad ass dog ever.

I rearranged my room. Don't like it...yet.

Still no boyfriend. Where is he??

I lost ten pounds! And I'm sick to death of egg whites and english muffins.

I have recently decided to switch to cruelty-free products, which has been hard. The makeup has been easy enough since I am currently in love with MAC and have been able to find cheaper alternatives (Avon and Jane). My shampoo was surprisingly already cruelty-free (Tresemme) but my conditioner, which I LOVED, wasn't so I had to switch to Tresemme and I don't like it as much. I just found out my facewash, which is the best, is tested on animals so I have to find a new one. Sadness. I will miss you Cetaphil. My toothpaste is now Tom's of Maine, which I hated the taste of at first, but am now used to. It's a bit pricier than Colgate and Crest, but it's not that bad. It's a small price to pay for my animal buddies. My lotion wasn't a hard switch either beacuse it's actually cheaper and smells great and is super moisturizing (St. Ives). Now if I could only give up beef...

The beginning

Lately, I've really felt like blogging and I really don't like doing it on Myspace, so I thought I would start one here. This will be a place for me to talk about all of my obsessions: makeup, clothes, food, purses, Gwen Stefani, Twilight, books, movies, yada yada yada. Anyway, in order to start building this thing up, I am going to post my first few blogs from Myspace here. Let the rambling begin!
